Cruse scanners are the world’s leader in contact-free large format scanners. They are a vital resource for many museums, libraries, universities, and historical societies; a key digitizing tool for preserving artworks and large documents for future generations.
With our Cruse scanner, we can scan artwork up to 36”x48” in a single scan, or up to 70”x72” scanned in sections and digitally stitched. It will accept works up to 6 ½” deep. The artwork lays on a moving table face up with nothing touching the top surface. It uses a unique lighting system that virtually eliminates reflections, especially on high gloss works. It also has the option to change the lighting to emphasize or reduce surface textures.
