Cruse scanners are the world’s leader in contact free large format scanners. They are a vital resource for many museums, libraries, universities, and historical societies; a key digitizing tool for preserving artworks and large documents for future generations.
Using our Cruse scanner, we can scan artwork and photographs up to 60”x72” (scanned in sections and digitally stitched) or 35”x47” in a single scan. It will accept works up to 6 ½” deep. The artwork lays on a moving table face up with nothing touching the top surface. It uses a unique lighting system that virtually eliminates reflections, especially on high gloss works. It also has the option to change the lighting to emphasize or reduce surface textures. See it in action here.

Lighting can be setup to capture the artwork as viewed under normal viewing conditions or using just one side light to emphasize the texture, shadows, or brushstrokes of the artwork (maximum size for this way is 35”x47”). Please confer which way you require.
