The Gallery at Still River Editions has participated in Open House Day since the gallery was re-dedciated in 2011. Usually it is our biggest opening of the year, with 50-100 people coming through during the day. This year, things are a little different because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and instead we are putting the entire postcard exhibition “Wish You Were Here” online, beginning at 10 am Eastern on our website.

The exhibition “Wish You Were Here” features 106 artists from around Connecticut and around the United States who answered the call for submissions asking for images taken from March 1 - May 31, 2020.

Other venues across the state will be participating in Open House Day with arts, culture, history, nature, and other events that are all online, many of which are free. Event listings are available on the state’s CTVisit website.

We hope you’ll take a look at ‘Wish You Were Here”, and/or make a note to visit us in person beginning June 22nd, when we are opening the physical gallery. Gallery hours will be 8:30 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday. We suggest that you call ahead at 203-791-1474. We can only allow 1-2 people from the same household at once due to space and safety constraints. Masks are required for entry, and we have hand sanitizer available for your use. Bathrooms are not available to the public.
