Saturday, June 14 is the State of Connecticut's 10th annual Open House Day, a day on which cultural venues across the state have special offerings for state residents. Many places that charge admission fees have reduced or free admissions, and/or special events or offers.

We will be open from noon - 5 pm with the opening reception for "Wide Awake in Dreamsville: Photographs by James Rohan". There will be refreshments all day, an artist's talk at 3 pm, and informal conversation about photography and printmaking all day. Free.

Bethel Historical Society

Brookfield Theatre for the Arts

From 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., offering free tours, refreshments, an afternoon workshop for children, an evening improv for adults and the lobby will features photographs of past shows.

Free admission from noon until 4 p.m. and all visitors will receive a complimentary Brookfield history booklet.
Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Free admission from noon until 5 pm. Activities include exhibition-inspired hands-on art making projects for all ages.
