Rebecca Mushtare's digital print, titled "Self-Disclosed", will be a part of IDEAS10: Art and Digital Narrative in conjunction with the International Digital Media Arts Association conference in Vancouver, B. C. (at Emily Carr University of Art and Design) from November 4 -6, 2010.

The conference's website describes its focus--"New digital technologies and mediums are informing, challenging and reinventing our notions of narrative structures and storytelling. Non- linear, virtual, artificial, interactive, and cyber culture have become common terms and concepts when describing the emerging integration of science, art, and sociology." In her print, she uses a colorful chart to simultaneously describe relationships between aspects of one's life in a way that may not be possible with representational artwork.

Mushtare, who works in digital media, installation, and fiber art, is an Assistant Professor at Marymount Manhattan College. Her website features an overview of her work, and a links section that contains many interesting resources for the digital artist.
