The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will present its 49th Annual Juried Spring Art Show and Sale at Art & Frame, 77 Main Street (Rt. 25), in Newtown from Saturday, May 4th—18th. Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 5-7PM, with the Awards Presentation taking place at 6 PM. The public is invited to the reception, as well as the exhibition. Light refreshments will be served during the reception

Jurors for selection and awards are nationally known artists Bivenne Harvey Staiger, Peter Seltzer, and Susan Grisell. The annual Larry Newquist Award for Excellence/Best in Show prize for $600 and numerous other prizes (totaling $2,000) will be given for outstanding work at the show reception,

Hours of the show are Monday—Saturday, from 10AM—6PM. Art & Frame is located at 77 Main St., Newtown, CT.
