Michael Friedman’s exhibition “Exposed! Music Legends 1969-1973” is on view at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum beginning on October 23, 2019 with an opening reception 6:15 pm - 8:30 pm featuring a Q&A with the artist at 7 pm. The exhibition will be on view through early 2020.
From their website: “A remarkable collection of never-before-seen, candid, black and white photos of iconic musicians and performers, including The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, The Band, Kris Kristofferson, Rita Coolidge and Todd Rundgren will be on display in the Rock Hall’s Main Exhibit Hall. Michael will sit down with a Rock Hall curator in the Foster Theater to talk about his fascinating career and story. Prior to the discussion, there will be a reception in the exhibit space to view the collection of photos.”
Friedman was an avid photographer when he worked in the music business in the 60’s and 70’s as a manager and producer.
Master Printmaker Mark Savoia of Still River Editions made the archival digital prints for the exhibition.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located at 1100 Rock and Roll Blvd, Cleveland, OH.
