From her artist's statement: “Coastal towns have inspired me as an artist and photographer to capture and preserve beautiful moments and imagery. From seashells to seascapes, buoys to boats, and a variety of weathered architecture, I am drawn to their vibrant colors and captivating greys. Most often what I present is a close up view of an object or section of something larger. I want the composition to be simple, but interesting. I want to show the beauty in things no matter their current state.
The opening reception has been moved to Friday, February 13 from 4 pm - 6 pm in light of the forecast.
The exhibit is part of the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut's Accessible Art Project.
