The Danbury Museum and Historical Society is hosting its third annual cake contest and tasting in honor of Valentine's Day on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from noon to 4:00 p.m. There will also be a special cake auction to benefit the museum. The general public is invited to attend and judge the contest. The $10 admission charge includes samples of all the cakes (on which you can vote), champagne, sparkling water or milk. Children under 10 are free.

Bakers will be competing in two categories: taste and decoration.

The "Locally Grown" art exhibit is still on view.
