Bravo! at the Fairfield Museum

The Fairfield Museum and History Center is exhibiting Bravo! A Century of Theatre in Fairfield County from September 25, 2011 - March 18, 2012. Still River Editions provided scanning and fine art printing and is pleased to be a photographic sponsor of the exhibition.

Featured are both historical materials and photographs from Connecticut's theater past, and photographs of the interiors of some of Fairfield County's now-abandoned antique theaters by Misencik Photography. Fairfield County's proximity to New York City and the level of sophistication of its residents have made it a draw for national and international actors, playwrights and directors.

On Saturday September 24, 2011 there is a gala preview party. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and benefit the continuing growth of the museum.

In addition to the gala, there will an opening reception for artists and the public on Sunday, October 2, 1 pm - 4 pm. that includes theater related activities, readings, and improv.  There will be additional programs related to the exhibit in October, and they may be viewed here.

The Fairfield Museum and History Center is located at 370 Beach Rd. Fairfield, CT.
