Photographer Inger Schoelkopf's giclée of her black-and-white film photograph titled "Control" was selected to be in the juried Spectra National Photography Triennial at Silvermine Guild Gallery 1037 Silvermine Road New Canaan, CT. There will be an opening Sun 14th 2-4 pm, and the exhibit will remain up until December 23.

Also of note: Schoelkopf's color photograph, titled "Marriage", received Honorable Mention in the 35th Annual Professional Women Photographers exhibition. It will be up on their online gallery for 6 months. Schoelkopf says she felt honored to be included because one of the judges was Elinor Carucci, one of her favorite contemporary photographers.

Schoelopf brings out a kind of tenderness in her often edgy subjects--she sees beauty in uncommon places. There is a gallery of Schoelkopf's images here on the website of Vision Access Photo Collective, of which she is a member.
