The WideTEK 60 Art Scanner is designed for museums, archives, and fine art reproduction studios. Unlike conventional scanners or cameras, it captures artwork using a high-precision overhead imaging system that preserves every detail—from delicate brush strokes and paper fibers to subtle tonal transitions. This means what we create is not just a photograph, but a truly accurate digital capture of the original artwork.

Handles Large Artwork Without Compromise

Most scanners cannot accommodate large-format artwork. The WideTEK 60 Art Scanner allows us to scan artwork up to 60×80 inches (1524 x 2032 mm) in a single capture, making it ideal for oil and acrylic paintings to watercolors, charcoal sketches, pastel drawings, mixed media collages, maps, and antique pieces, and up to 5.5 inches (140mm) in height. It can even scan your artwork in its frame with glass. Available in resolutions of 300, 600, or 1200ppi at 8 or 16bit.

Artwork must be relatively flat, but can be on a substrate that is up to 5.5” inches (140mm) in height. If you are wondering if we are able to scan your particular artwork, please contact us.

Gentle on Originals

Artwork deserves careful handling. The WideTEK 60 Art Scanner’s overhead scanning design means the artwork lies flat while the scanner captures the image from above without contact. There is no pressure, no glass contact; nothing touches the surface, eliminating stress on fragile or valuable originals.

True Color Accuracy

Color accuracy is critical for artists. The WideTEK 60 Art Scanner system uses low temperature, no UV/IR LED illumination and calibrated imaging sensors to produce highly accurate color and tonal reproduction. The scanner exceeds all criteria set forth in the FADG/*** guidelines and ISO 19264-1 level A. Then we pair this technology with our own color-managed workflow and proofing process, ensuring the final print matches your intent.

The Perfect Combination for Fine-Art Printing

A great print begins with a great scan. By starting with an exceptionally detailed master scan from the WideTEK 60 Art Scanner, we can produce museum-quality giclée prints that preserve the character and nuance of the original work.
