Fine Art Prints

Still River Editions has been making digital fine art prints for over eleven years, starting with some of the earliest fine art printing equipment such as the Iris printer. Throughout the years, and several generations of Epson printers later, we have mastered the ability to get the best possible results for this ever changing technology, fine art ink jet printing.

All of our printing processes require a digital file to print from. It can be either an image captured by a digital camera, original in-computer art, directly scanned flat artwork, or a scan of traditional silver-based films. We offer Certificates of Authenticity with all prints if requested. There are no set-up fees in our workflow, the prices you see are the prices you pay.

Color
We use Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks (ten colors) for color prints on all media. We can print on media up to 44 inches wide and up to 39 feet long. Media choices for color prints are the following:

Black and White
We use Cone Piezography carbon pigment inks for black & white prints on all media. We can print on media up to 44 inches wide and up to 39 feet long.

We offer three different hues of black ink sets-
XXXSelenium - a cool black similar to a silver print that has been selenium toned
XXXWarmtone - a slight sepia that is similar to a silver print that has been slightly sepia toned
xxxxSplit-tone - a mix of warm highlights and cool shadows that is simular to a silver print that has a slight sepia tone

*The final color is effected by the media printed on.
